A Centralian, country style, 10-song CD which paints aural pictures of the interior of Australia. The brief for this album was to create a CD ‘with a spirit or feeling of being in this Central Australian country’.

A ‘singer’s singer’, Lorrie is one of the area’s leading Musicians. This song also available on the writer’s own album ‘Outback Survivor’
Peter Baker ‘Rusty Road’ (Peter Baker)
Peter was a tour bus driver in a past life and many of those outback roads were (are) rusty red in colour.
Leon Spurling ‘Small Town’ (Leon Spurling)
Another leading musician over several years, Leon details the trials of many who have grown up in this ‘small-ish’ town.

In ‘dyed in the wool’ Outback style ,Scotty beautifully details a world of yester-year.

Eric is an Arrernte man from Ntaria the country music capital of the area; everything he does unconsciously paints his country.
Shane Benning ‘In the Alice’ (Shane Benning)
Someone who like many, comes and goes and comes again to this country; Shane has a most unique point of view as the song amply shows.
Jayne Hughes ‘Old Bamboo Chair’ (Alan Hughes)
Another song speaking of a time gone by, this lovely song was the initial reason for the album. A daughter / father collaboration.
Warren H Williams ‘Our Heart is in our land’ ( Warren H Williams / Ross Muir)
Also originally from Ntaria, Warren is perhaps the most well known artist from central Australia. Originally written when the N.T. Govt was attempting to break up land councils, this is another song telling of attachment to country.
